Well, this would not be a bolt on because the exhaust configuration for the Y34 and 90-06 Q45 is different from that of the Y50 M35/45 for which the Element114 exhaust is made. The F50 and Y34 exhaust system also has an extra center mounted muffler/resonator instead of the H-Pipe on G50's and (F)Y33's.
All Q45's have an offcenter spare tire tub toward the right and dual enter/exit rear muffler on the left.
A solution would be to replace the two resonators in front the rear diff with two mufflers, beautifully demonstrated here by NICO member PMF.
A month or so ago, I measured a resonator on a G50. Its length is roughly 13.75 long. The single in dual out rear exit muffler on my 02 Maxima is about 19.75 long.
I've driven a 91 Q45 with the single rear muffler removed and the exhaust was finished off with twin tips on both sides. The car was quiet during steady freeway cruising but made too much noise during acceleration. The sound is fine, for a Chevelle, Mustang or Challenger. But a little much for a Q45, especially a late model F50. The sound clip of the E114 on the M45 sounds sweet and is nowhere near as over bearing. I have not heard it in person but hopefully is still a mellow, deep sounding exhaust, similar to a stock FX45 perhaps.
