i put this in the audio forum, but i got like 2 post views in the last week, so...

have a cd changer that i want to install in my car, but i am missing some of the wires. It is a sony 10 disc changer. I have the commander unit (the little screen thing) but it is cut off and i dont have the plug that goes into the actual cd changer. So i was wondering if anyone knows if i can just buy some kind of cord with a similar plug and solder the screen piece on to it without problems, and if so, what kind of appliance would have a plug like this? it looks like it might be an svideo plug but i am not sure. Also for the power, i have the plug that goes into the cd changer; it has a red wire and a yellow wire with a transformer thing on the yellow one, after this the wires are cut off. i am not sure how i would go about connecting this to my car, can anyone tell me? (the cd changer was not installed by me in the first place so i am not really sure how to do this.) Finally, there is a headphone jack looking plug that is blue, and says output. i have nothing that plugs into this at all, on either side. can anyone who knows about car audio please help me out? i called sony but it would be like 130$ to buy replacment pieces so screw that :P

I have just bought a Sony 10 disc CD changer model # B8182-C9968 (CDX-5N61W). It came with 3 cables, 1 of which goes can plug into the unit and the screen. I "should" have no need for these pieces as my Bose head unit has the controls built into it.

Let me know if you still need this cable?
