Electronic issues/ cruise control

Last week q56 started acting up whime driving. Lights flashing, all electronics stopped working. We got it to a Nissan dealership, they said we needed to replace the ECM, we did and it seemed to work fine. Yesterday the same thing happened again, we got it to an Infiniti dealership that said its our cruise control making everything act up and we need to replace it ($2200) or we could disable the cruise control ourselves but they could not. Please let me know if you've heard of this happening, do we replace the cruise control or just disable. Does anyone know how to disable the cruise?

the instrument cluster is the main brain and central location for nearly all of those communications. you should look at your obd port and see if there are any codes present.

how old is your model? if itsa 05-06 or so, the instrument cluster may be part of the problem...
