it sounds more like a V8 then anything. and i don't have to worry about that because it's an electronic exhaust cut-out, if i have my nephews or sister in the car i'd have it closed and the only real time you need it open is when your racing or going fast and in that case you'll either have the windows up OR at the higher RPMs you'll already be blowing air pretty hard so it wont just go into the cabin, it'll get blown under the car and to the back of the car

Another thing to consider is going to be heat. You want to make sure there are no wires or hoses anywhere around the exit. Exhaust gases are VERY hot and they will melt things. I just showed my buddy his melted brake lines on his F-150 and the exhaust is about two feet or more away from the lines...

ya i made sure the brake lines and everything were out of the way. my friend used to have side exit exhaust on his SRT4 and everyone was always burning there legs on it
lol went to change my oil today (was going to go to the track but it rained) and the guy changing my oil freaked out and he was asking me what that was lol after i told him and showed him the switch he had me open the cut-out and rev it lol then he had me write down what it was so he can try and get it on his 350Z

i've always wondered what the e cut out thing was and finally did some research. i see a lot of you with 3.5s post about this but i have the 2.5 and was wondering if it would be worth doing.
probably thinking about having the same setup as Hussain with the cut out b4 the 3rd cat i guess. but i do have stock piping and was wondering if the 2.25 size would fit since i don't know what the size piping is :/
