Hey, I have been looking around and haven't been able to find anyone that was using Electronic Cutouts on a 300zx? Is it even possible? I'm trying to get a sick sound when I want it but not all the time. I am probably going to gut the Cats when I do it if it is even possible. And I was also thinking a good Popcharger and ECU chip for Hp, and a aluminum drive shaft.

You'll lose power with them. Generally, at this point in the game, if someone isn't already running something that's popular on other cars, there's a reason.

Exhaust cutouts are able to be welded into any exhaust system. Whether or not you should is a different story. An N/A with cutouts is just going to lose its backpressure and sound way too raspy and louder than hell.

So full exhaust with high flow cats is a better plan?

Yup. Any bigger than 2.5" is unnecessary on N/A and can also kill backpressure. I'd look at the B&B system since you have a 2+2. FL doesn't have emissions though, does it? Why keep the cats?

No emissions, I was just thinking if I ever sold it that it would at least look legal with gutted cats .

If you "gut the cats" then you create an expansion chamber, which will slow down the flow of exhaust. And as long as FL doesn't smog, and you sell it in FL, then no worries. Test pipes all the way.

Lol, you're talking like you're actually gonna sell it one day. *rolls eyes*
