i have a 94 q45 that refuses to start fuel pump seems to be working. Motor cranks. I don't think its gettig spark. When I attempt to start it i here a constant clicking ,like a relay click, coming from the right side kick panel. So i took the panel off and noticed thats where the computer is, and as long as the key is kept on the clicking continues. So Im guessing that this is the reason for the no start. I'm also guessing that this was caused by the mass air sensor connector shorting out and blowing the engine control fusible link. any ideas would be greatly appreciated

:welcome: to NICO!

I'm not sure if the ECU has anything in it that woud click (e.g. relays) but there are several relays mounted in the hole directly behind the ECU. It might be worth removing the screws to the ECU and pulling it outward to see if you can tell if the noise is coming from the ECU or one of the relays behind it. The top screw can be a bear to get out. If you have a phillips head that will fit in a ratchet with an extension, I have found that to be helpful.

The FSM (factory service manual) may also help - and you can view or download it at www.nicoclub.com/FSM/

ECU's are pretty cheap if you happen to have a www.pullapart.com nearby with the correct donor vehicle.
