ok at first it was just the digital clock not keeping the memory so every time i start the car it says one o clock, and the over head light does not work. on my way home i got pulled over because my brake light was out. I check that and my brake lights work. Got in the car and the dash lights wont come on but the over head light now works. Got home and my father told me i have to lights in back now. Whats going on and how do I fix it? Is it as simple as reseting the ECU

I changed out several fuses to fix my issue similar to this. It will be multiple fuses.

So give it a try. I hope it works.

Check out the TCU (Time Control Unit), it's located near the driver side fuse box. Just take off the plastic panel and its the white little box with a harness going into it. Open it up and look for burn marks. If it seems to be bad, find a junkyard replacement. If that doesn't work, then your in the same boat as me.

you have a loose connection somewhere likely behind the fuse box. If something like a fuse or the timing control unit was burnt it wouldnt come back on. My guess is a power wire behing the box has a loose connection with the fuse box.
