I am looking to do electrochromic window tinting for my '06. I want to be able to do this for the summer heat, a little privacy, and for at night for when you can't see squat with tints. Has anyone else done this with their vehicle(s)? I saw some guy on YouTube do the "smart glass" on his G, but I don't want to do that. The electrochromic method tints the window(s) at the press/flip of a switch. I see it can be a variable tint setup too for where laws are different depending upon the state/country/region you're in or if you just don't want a really dark tint. The "smart glass" just frosts the window(s) and you can't see in or out; which I don't find particularly effective unless you only wish for privacy when parked.
