I recently bought a 91 240sx shell (originally equipped with a manual transmission). I put my motor in in it from an automatic car, only unbolted the automatic transmission and bolted up a manual one (changed clutch, flywheel, etc. too). I did keep the automatic transmission engine harness. What exactly needs modified for the automatic transmission engine harness to fit in a manual car? I realize there's a writeup on auto to manual, but what about manual -> manual with an auto harness? Because right now:
1.) no reverse lights2.) seatbelt light, e-brake light, door light, and all accessories remain on when the ignition is off (may or may not be related?)3.) I have several unused plugs. I've read that the automatic one has more, but does anything need to be done with these?
On the bright side, it does crank. It's got no gas tank yet, so didn't start. Don't ask, not my doing...
