I just hooked up my cd player to my 93 240sx coupe and made sure everything was grounded properly and no loose wires or connections. Now when I turn off my car my automatic seatbelts will not move until I turn the key 3/4 turn to get power from the battery. Also the clock resets itself everytime I turn on the car, and when I open my door when the car is on the digital dash clock shuts off and when I close my door it is reset again. I just need pointed in the right direction please. I am no good with electrical work. I searched but the problems are so plentiful its hard to read them all for my specific problem. Thanks

Does this sound like a cd player install problem? Or something else? When I unplug the CD player nothing fixs itself. When I bought the car it had a wiring harness hooked up to it already. Luckily for me when I bought a cd player it just plugged right in. I didnt have to mess with anything. I am just so lost. Where would the fuse be for the automatic seatbelts? I just lose all power to the vehicle when the key is off. When the key is on everthing is fine again, just reset like I pulled the cables off of the battery. Please help!!!

About the clock resetting: IS that the clock onthe radio?

If so you have the ACC and the constant wire on the radio backwards.

The ACC needs to go to an ignition controlled source. The Constant goes directly to the battery.
