yo guys

my car's been running great for the past... 2 weeks or so

on monday, i took it over to cartune for a timing adjustment. on the way back, i realized that when i stepped on the brake, the gauge cluster buzzed and the handbrake and battery warning lights flashed with the buzzing.

yesterday, i took it out at night and when the headlights are on, the buzzing is constant. it also buzzes to the sound of my sub. it also buzzes when i flash my blinkers.

i have battery relocation. maybe that's the problem?

but the thing is, this didn't start until the guys at cartune adjusted my timing :\

oh yea, the reverse lights don't come on anymore

you guys got any suggestions?

shiet. the car just died in the middle of the road today. pushed it home, a block away haha. it won't start anymore. my head unit started cutting out intermittently before it died and idle was really weird under braking (like it would fluctuate between 1500-750rpms)

anybody got any ideas?

Check your grounds, it may be that there was a loose ground that finally came undone.

My integra would do very similar things to that. It eneded up being the power wire that goes to my altenator broke, right after the connector. The thing that sucked was you couldn't tell, cause of the factory shrink rap. Id say check out your alternator, good luck. Chris

By any chance did you take the alternator and battery out and have them both test? i know autozone can do it. Hmmm, check for more loose connectors.

Obviously something happened at Cartune since it wasn't doing this before they touched it. The weird part is for a timing adjustment nothing electrical (dash wise) should have been screwed up. Hell nothing electrical in general should be messed up if they adjusted the timing correctly. Odd, but anyways you need to go back to Cartune and hassle them, they should fix it for free if there business is even worth a darn.

jason, the mechanic, says he didn't touch anything electrical when he did the adjustment.

he looked it over for me, and told me a few things to look for, but they're all correct.

he has no idea what's wrong either
