electrical rewiring

i currently have a '95 infiniti j30, i dont like the analog clock so i took that out, im making a custom bezel that goes over the radio, cuz i dont like the wood grain. i bought a clock from an 88 nissan 300zx. it has 4 wires just like my infiniti clock, however, on the board, its labeled differently. on the nissan clock it has gnd, lig, acc and bat... i know that bat is battery, acc is accessory and gnd is ground... but what does lig stand for, and what wire would that be??

The lig is more than likely the light dimmer switch. What wires did the Analog clock have?

The analog clock has gnd, two lig's and bat

so then the lig should be same as the radio's illumination wire?? and there isnt any problem with connecting wires to the radio's harness to get power or the signal lines for other devices, is there??
