Electrical Question

I have added some items to my QX over the past few years, 6 disc dvd changer, front and rear monitors, tv tuner, fm modulator and I have a few more items coming. Question: Is there a better way of running power to these items other than going straight to the battery. Is there a distribution box I should be looking for? Should I consider an upgraded alt?

That stuff is relatively low current. If you haven't had problems, you probablywon't need an upgraded alternator.

I'd have run one good-sized wire to the battery, with an appropriate fuseright at the battery. Or to just before the fusable link coming off the battery.The size would be determined by adding up the current requirement of allthe bling you've added.
