Electrical Question

I need to find the voltage regulator on the 1990 240sx hatch, And not the one on the alternator. Apparently there is another one and I can't find it.

Its right next to the flux capacitor.

You're going to look forever because someone is a retard and told you there is another one. I even looked to make sure and i didnt find an "Extra" voltage regulator in the charging system, EFI and body harness period.

I called the part store and they listed one but could not tell me were it is located. So your 100% sure there is not one?

voltage regulator is internal on the alternator, there is no other one on the chassis.

i believe if u remove ur dash its under there in the wiring somewhere

So are you looking for a voltage regulator or a relay?

At first I was looking for a voltage regulator b/c a guy told me it had one. I called the part store and they said it has one. So I assumed it had one other than the alternator. But after posting on here everyone says it doesnt. So i moved on to my next step to find my short and thats were im looking for this relay.

I think its the Brown relay under the drivers dash on the side of the fuse box? Thats what I have been told anyways.

Theres several NISSAN factory service manuals on there.FIND THE SMALL LINK TO THE LEFT HAND SIDE CALLED DOWNLOADS, THEN FACTORY SERVICE MANUALS, THEN NISSAN, THEN S13 KA24E/KA24DE which ever one you need. Go to the one you need, look at the electrical section and list of parts section and find it.

Ok I found my problem. The Red/Black main Ignition wire had a short in it some where's so I ran a new wire. But now I am Not getting any power to my ECU, which isn't triggering my fuel pump relay. Does anyone know were the main ignition wire that goes to the ECU get power from?

I know its the Red wire in the White plug next to the ECU up in the dash, But Im not sure were it runs to in the Original Harness.
