electrical question

After doing the swap and connecting everything. When i connected the battery for the very first time my brake lights are on at all times no matter what!?!?! why is the question? did i mess something up in the harness when i did it? Plus does any one know if there are any plugs on the ka24e harness that match s13 redtop CAS plug mine is cracked real bad. Thnx for any help

you have a short somewhere it sounds like. do you know what the little braided wire on the back of the engine connects too?? it has a small black rectangular harness at the end and i have no idea where it goes. i have no power at all

no man i dont have it connected to anything i thought that might be a prob somewhere but i dont see anywhere near that has a plug like that one
