im trying to replace a wire.....can i attach an 18 gauge wire in between 2 20 gauge wires......will this affect the signal or anything like that.....its the black wire coming from the tps harness...thanks

you should be fine since you're adding in a thicker wire. if you were going to a thinner wire, then I would say you shouldn't do that.
