Nistech... A quick question for you.

I have a new door that I want to swap onto my 'vert. Problem is the person removed the door from the old car w/out putting the window down.

With the window up, the door is much more difficult to handle and move and will make install difficult.

So, I need to figure out how to lower the power window without being able to hook it up to the car's wiring yet.

My thinking is that I should be able to connect a wire from the positive terminal of the battery to the window switch. Then from the window switch back to the negative terminal.

Two questions... 1.) Which terminals are 12v, neg, ground, etc.. on the power window connection. In other words.. if I have a + and - wire... which pins on the window switch do I contact them to..

2.) How do I do this without electricuting myself?! I am assuming that with the window switch in the center position it is not transferring any current throught the connection. So I should be able to hook a wire up + and another wire up - and not have those complete a circuit. If there is no circuit i should have to worry about getting zapped or blowing fuses or whatever...

Do you guys have any suggestions or ideas for me?BTW.. the door is the passenger side.

THANKS!!!
