My husband's 2007 Z is being driven from Federal Way, WA to Columbia, SC. We are now on our 4th day of our trip.

We've run into a few minor problems while on the road and wanted to know if this was an isloated problem with just us, or if others have been experiencing the same things. I know that someone on the forum stated that 2005 or 2006 had electrical problems, but I haven't heard anything regarding the 2007s.

1. The cruise control does not disengage when the cancel or off button is pressed. 2. Spedometer got stuck at over 80 miles per hour. He was trying to lower the setting and the speed was going down, but we couldn't tell what the real speed was. We ended up using the digital spedometer on the dash.3. The low tire pressure warning light comes on when the tires are not low. This caused us to find a gas station, check the tire pressure and adjust accordingly. When we got back on the road, the light went off like the manual said, but then it came back on within 5 miles of driving, when we knew it couldn't possibly be low. The warning light then went off after about 50 - 60 miles of driving.4. We are not using the navi system but just have the map display on. During our drive, it's resetting itself. The screen disappears for a second, then comes back on. The map looks correct, but we're not sure why the screen would black out for a second.

Once we arrive in SC, we're taking the car in to have these things checked. Just in case they dismiss these problems as isolated incidents, I wanted to have some info ready, if others are having the same problems.

Could be something that may require a system reset. Something like disconnecting the negative battery cable for X amount of time to reset the computer. Don't try this without talking to someone who really knows, or check out a TECH site, i think one is 350ztech.com, or something like that. Try googling 350ztech.com and maybe ask someone on there. I hope you guys get some help and nothing serious happens on your trip. Good luck and be safe.

Yes, it was purchased brand new. We called the deaership in SC and they wanted a full day to look at it. Oh no! We've heard electrical problems are difficult to solve.

I was hoping to get some other people who might have had the same problem so that we have some ammo when we walk in and they can't say we're imagining things. You know how they are sometimes.

Two more days of driving to go. Hopefully nothing else comes up.

Thanks!
