Just watch the video... I charged the battery a about 2 weeks ago before it started getting cold out. The alternator only has 170k on it and got it used from a 1993.

could be your alternator/voltage regulator thats the only reason why i could see it "going away" when you rev. it

haha "going away" was a wrong choice of words? Where is the voltage regulator located.

yeah i thought that after i had posted it loli could have put it in quotation marks lol

your voltage regulator is attached to your alternator and im PRETTY sure you have to replace both at the same time..... i could be wrong though. I had to when mine went bad on my old NA

would it be worth it to upgrade to a TT alternator on my NA z? since i have t oget a new one anyway

im pretty sure they are the exact same thing.... there might not even be a price difference

the twin turbo is 90amps and the NA is 80 amps. there's a price difference. I was also told that the brackets are different.

haha ok i ordered a duralast alternator from autozone. Thanks man for your help. I hope this is the fix.
