What does it do when you try to crank it over? Anything at all? Clicking relays or anything of the such?

Might be a bad alternator. If the battery that you swapped in wasn't brand new, then it could be a dead cell in the battery

wet has nthing to do with it, when you replaced the battery, was it drained or dead? if the battery was wimply rained due to a bad alternatlr or voltage regualtor and you replaced the battery it too will drain out, assuming the alt/vr is good check the battery cables and make sure you have good solid connections at both ends of both cables and a good chassis ground on the firewall
