Electrical problems

my 240 had an aftermarket alarm on it, none of it was connected except the wires to the ignition. I removed the whole unit an re spliced the wires an now the power wont shut off to the car and its killing my battery. What the hell did i do?

Its hard to say what exactly you did without looking at it first hand. It depends on the system you had, what level it was, what wires they tapped in the dash. If you could get a picture of where you redid the slices would be somewhat useful.

i have no clue wat system i had, but i respliced all the wires because most of them were cut

everything was fine for about 3 hours an then it went back to being ****ed.

is the wiring harness going from the ignition to the first plug under the dash???

heres the pic of the plug. It has 5 wires coming out of it

white/redblack/whiteblack/greenblueblack/yellow

the alarm wires were tapped into the white/red and the black/white wires

i got another plug out of a parts car that i had, so would that be the problem?
