electrical problems

my 93 240 keeps giving me problems it seems to be an intermitten electrical issue it will run perfect then all of the sudden wont start , it will crank but no spark, thr first time it was just a fuse but recently it happened and the fuse was fine, about 3 hours later it started back up before i determined if there was spark or lack of fuel if anyone has faced this before please help, i never know when or where it will happen next

Just to rule out one thing is there any corrosion or dirt/grease/oil on either battery terminal or on other end of the wires?

Also under what conditions do these problems normally happen?

the strange thing is that it has only happened twice, in the same parking spot on a slight incline but both times the gas tank was full so i dont see that as the problem, ive checked most of the connections, and cleaned the battery terminals, this all started after a strange gas station installed a new alternator

something is loose. check all your connections in the alt area. including grounds.
