Electrical Problems!! need help!!

i have an electrical issue with my '89 240sx FB, when you start the car there is no auxilary power to anything until you rev it to about 4500 rpm and then all of a sudden you have power to everything. which to me seems like corroded wires or something but i dont know for sure. could just need a new dash set up mabey? i unno please help though! |Thanks!

Check the battery and alternator for starters.

Load test the battery and do a ripple test on the alternator among any other tests.

ok will do. is there also a chance that the voltage regulator is bad? cuz it sorta sounds like something that would cause that.

Do what Paul said and get the alternator checked. The regulator is built into the alternator.
