I'll just dive right into it. I diconnected my battery for one hour today to try and reset the ECU and see if it would help with my overdrive on/off light that always blinks when I start the car. When I reconnected the battery and tried to start the car I got nothing at all. Now for the weird part. When I turn the key the car beeps twice and the parking lights as well as the gauge lights blink. Then after a minute or so of this my car doors lock. I somehow managed to start the car once during all of this but thats it. Heres the modified electrical system as far as I know up until this happened.

-Aftermarket alarm system(was dissarmed before I got it, but the hardware is still inthere)-Revolution sensor disconnected(By P.O.)-Sleepy eye mod(brown wire in manual headlight harness disconnected)

I hope this is enough information for someone to shed some light on this very odd event. Thank you very much in advance and I really need help with this guys, please.

try reseting ur ecu again. if no that, try checking all ur grounds, maing sure the connections are clean and tight.

one time i disconnected my battery and removed alternator to install an oil filter relocation and oil cooler, after that, putting the alternator back on and connecting the battery, a started my car to check for any leaks. after a few minutes of it idling, reving it up a bit to see if any leaks start, everything was good. i went to and pulled the key out of the ignition and when i was halfway out of my car, i realized that my car was still runing and i had the key in my hand and completly out of the ignition. in the end, it was just bad ground. never underestimate grounding in an electrical problem.

good luck

blinking lights and the beeping?? sounds like your alarm isn't quite so disabled....i would make sure that thing is disabled...overdrive light is a different thing, if thats blinking, its to tell you something is wrong...if you have access, look up how to read teh codes on mitchell or head to a dealship and have them scan it...wouldn't take long and it might be worth a look. Your od light is blinking at start up because your rev sensor is unplugged. People unplug the rev sensor when shifting problems from first to second start happening.
