So I am putting back the rear trim pieces back on on '88 300ZX and I try turning on the dome light and it won't turn on. In fact:

Dome light Map light Stereo Door panel lights Clock Electrical AC (backlight works, but digits don't show up and AC doesn't work)

all don't turn on.

I did not even tinker with any electrical wires in the dash or anything. The only wires I touched was to disconnect the dome light. That was it; The map light was connected the whole time (but not on).

EDIT: Some have told me I could have blown a fuse. Which fuse could I have blown? There are so many under the steering column...

I don't remember reading that there was a "room" fuse inside the fuse compartement under the steering wheel...

It will be labeled either room, or dome there are other terms used by nissan but I think room was used around that time period.

You're right. I found and checked he fuse and I will have to replace it. Hopefully, that will also fix the AC, radio, and the clicking sound that is coming from the dash...
