One of two things: 1) battery itself is bad. Take it to a parts store and have it tested.2) The alternator checked out and is not charging the battery anymore. Remove that and take it to a parts store and have it checked.Personally, I think the battery is bad. How old is it? Are the connections secure and is there any corrosion on the terminals?

its not the batterycuz its happend 2 three new batteries. and i dont think its the alternator cuz i dont drive the car every day. i buy a new battery, put it in, turn the car on for 5 minutes and leave it alone. the next day the battery is dead

Okay, suppose the charging system is good. That leaves us with something constantly drawing power. Turn everything off, and check out the small service lights. Make sure the dome light, glove box light, trunk/hatchback light, ashtray light and there should be a light under the driver side dash somewhere near the steering column are not on.If you have an aftermarket radio/sound system, make sure those items turn off with the key. (switched power source)Make sure your brake lights do not stay on. Yes this has happened.Basically go over all the obvious electric draws on the car, and make sure they are not on when they are not supposed to be.Also if you have electric fans, make sure they are switched correctly.

Your alternator is probably the culprit. Specifically, the one or more of the diodes inside it are probably bad. They are letting current flow back into the alternator when the car is shut off. Any parts store should be able to confirm this on their test bench. I've had this happen on two different cars.

here, quick way to find out. get a test light or multimeter. pull your negative battery cable off of the battery. with the key out of car, hook your test light up to the negative post on battery, then ground the test light. if it lights up, you have a drain. pull the fuses one at a time, when the light goes out, you found the culprit. this will at least help narrow down your search, and make your car driveable until you can really fix it. enjoy.
