Hey. In my 1989 240sx coupe I just changed my digital gauge cluster to an analog one. But the problem is, my wiring may be messed up. I know **** about electrical stuff, so here's the problem.

My clock turns off when I open my doors, and resets, and my door open light stays on dimly when the doors are closed. Also my stereo stopped working... My friend thinks that some wires may not be grounded. Any suggestions? Thanks!

you need to pull a factory service manula and see how all those circuits could be connected

ok. I heard it may be... a little white box... I forget what it is called, tcu or something, (sorry for sounding ignorant) and I was wondering if that may be the problem?

when you changed your cluster did you also change the sub harness attached to the back of the cluster? You need to do that as well. And the cluster has to be from the same year range car as yours 89-90 cluster and sub harness will work.

Yeah I did that, and it is from a 90, same year as my car.
