Hey guys,

I need some help, i had a dead battery after i had been sick for a while and my dad jumped my car without me around and he got all mad cuz the gauges/power windows/power mirrors/and lights wouldnt work, i asked if there was a lot of sparks when he connected the jumper cables and he said yeah, so i checked it out and replaced the blown relay... however, my clock in the gauge cluster and my cd player wont work...the cd player lights up without power to the unit...just when i turn the headlights on, and no power at all is goin to the head unit, the security light wont even flash... any suggestions u guys have would be appreciated... i find it odd my clock in my gauge cluster just stopped working... anyways, thanks a lot!!!!!

You will have to go through the car and check your fusiable links and all fuses. The radio on some models have a 7.5 amp fuse in the back of the radio you might have to remove the radio to get to it. If it has a factory cd player check for a fuse in the back of it to. Sometimes you can remove the ground cable from the battery for a few minutes and it will recycle or reset the changer when hooked back up.
