something shorted out in my electrical system of 95 maxima. I found a 140 amp fuse was blown and replaced it..i also replaced the battery and now nothing works including any lights. i turn the key and there is no clicking..i cleanded the battery terminals and connections, checked all the connections, checked every fuse i could find...this all started after i replaced the alternator

Have you checked all the grounds?

You probably hooked the battery wires up backwards. Good freakin luck!

140amps is either the alternator fuse or the battery fuse.

Are you sure you wired the alternator correctly? I've seen some people forget to put that little washer back in beneath the connector...making a direct short to the case and then ground. It's small and easily lost. Double check your wiring at the alternator.
