75a fuse problem. i was getting my alt tested and when i put it back in, i found out that the 75a fuse blew so what i did was just put a paper clip in it.. it lasted a couple of months but just today it started getting very very hot and smoking.. there is defiantly a short somewhere.. Where could it be? i know damn well if i just put another bus fuse its just gonna blow so i dont wanna waste my money on that.. ive looked in other threads but nobody is having the problem like that. please help.. im sure alot of people know what the car does when that fuse is blown.. goes crazy! ahah please help!

You can start by pulling out fuses and relay and replacing them back in one by one to see where the short is located.
