Hey guys is there a relay for the electronics for the inside of my 92 240? My radio, hud, electronic speedo, intermittent wipers, dome light, and reading light all do not function. I can see some power going to my hud, speedo, and radio but Im assuming theres not enough power to make it work. Also my seat belt and console clock do not work once Ive removed my key from the ignition. Ive checked all the fuses inside and outside and they look fine. Any suggestions? Thanks a lot.

The getting a little power but not enough to function thing does kind of sound like a relay problem but i couldn't see how it would be. Out of the things you listed i would imagine that only the wipers would have a relay on them. As far as the clock i would assume it would almost have to be a fuse b/c i don't see what else it would be. The only way you'd lose the clock is if the constant 12v wire wasn't working. Either it got loose at a wiring harness, got torn and grounded out somewhere, or the fuse is blown. I'm not really sure what to tell ya w/o being able to test things for the first problem...as far as the clock going out...just test the power on the constant wire and try to trace it back to the battery somehow and see whats wrong with it. Maybe someone else here can help a little better.

The clock goes out when I open either door. And the radio use to work after I reclosed my door. And occasionally my speedo/hud will work but as soon as I open my door it turns off. And when I try to use my dome/reading light and when the radio kinda worked the red led on the console for door open would light up when I tried to use the dome/reading light and radio (if it didnt turn on I would just reclose my door).

you know what I was in that kinda situation when I tried to install my own indash cd player and kinda screwed up the wires. Solution for me was I took it to a local car stereo installation place and I think they replaced a fuse or two under the hood of my 240.
