Electrical problem..

i have a really freaked up problem in the drifter....while running i will lose all power,, the gauges will shut off, and the car does not want to run..it chugs like its out off gas...i was watching for a signal on the dash but nothin cam up..its weird it just kills the battery...ill charge it start great then drive for 5-10mins then it all goes to hell... the battery is like zapped out... i was thinkin it was a limp home mode... but i wont limp home it just dies... please help thanks

so you charge the battery and it eats it away and dies? My first thoughts would be a bad alternator

yeah, sounds like a bad altenator, take it off and have it tested.

go to your local autozone they will hook up and test your charging system for you for free
