Electrical problem s13 hatch???

The only lights that work on the car are the headlamps, I have no running lights, blinkers, hazards, taillights, brake lights, no map light, the radio turns on but the antenna won't come up, and the time doesn't show on the clock, but the backlight is on.

I checked all the fuses in the car and in the engine bay, all check out okay. I'm at a loss as to why this is happening.. So what I'm asking is, do aaaany of you have aaaany clue to what's going on???? thanks!

When I hit my breaks my defrost light comes on. And when I hit the defrost button my break lights come on! I use it when people are ridding me on the highway actually.. So it sounds like yours is worse. So I'm sorry I cant help. Yours doesn't seem as easy to live with.

Get a fsm and start tracing the wiring diagrams. Had a gremlin myself, all of my gauges didn't work, except my fuel and temp gauge, which would only come up a fraction of the way and my seatbelts wouldn't retract. Turned out to be a frayed wire close to the hood pop handle by the fuse box. Good luck with it, because it was a nightmare finding my problem.

I have the same problem too. i hate wirings, but I'm guessing I'm gonna buy a used wiring harness and replace with that until I know where my problem lies later on.

Yea if you have that many problems your gonna have to tear alot into the harness

Well its really weird... When I start the car nothing works, but the second I rev the motor everything kicks on like it should... wtf???

I have a friends car that starts but has no accessories. the backlit for clock comes on and brightens up with the revs. no beltbelts windows or anything.

yeah thats exactly what happens to mine, I just took it out on the road for the first time to check everything, and when I put the a/c on max the tach goes nuts as well.
