Hey ppl

car: 93' 240sx hatchType of radio : stock

A week ago i changed my whole 240 interior from brown to black... while doing this i think i messed something upi was very carefull when i took the dash outlabeled all the wire'n and saved every screw... but my radio doesn't turn on,

B4 i changed the dash the stations would reset everytime i turned off the car.Now my ac doesn't work as well, but lights that we not working b4 seem to work ( the light in the back, i think it's called the door light or something )

I researched but i could only find possibilities, but some ppl say that my electrical system might be messed up...i don't know much about electrical systems but i assume changing it would be pretty difficult...

does n e one have n e ideas the fuses look fine btwand battery is new

n e help would be great

there is a radio fuse (7.5A on mines) @ the back of the OEM radio... check that 1st...

nah, that isn't right... the radio wouldn't work @ all when the fuse in the back blows... there is a wire to the radio that's supposed to be for memory (i forgot what the colors are...)

hopefully someone else can help you in the other section: audio/alarms/ or nissan online tech.

if the factory plugs are still there, I might just recheck the connections.

Yeah may have blown a fuse or even gone ahead and had a faulty wire. As for everything reseting check altinator.Like he said the wires in the back may be off or even just a little worn or loose but hey give it a second shot and cover every step. Double check everything and if nothing else just keep asking around.

Good luck.

Check your harness for a loose connection. It could be as simple as that, just press in all the wires on the back of their clips in firmly and pray the problem goes away. Just sounds like that to me as you've changed your dash and then that problem appears. Could be also that something is pressing against the harness in such a way that it doesn't really like it... So check into that too. Good luck with this problem by the way, as it could get ugly.
