electrical problem i think

95-96 S14 nissan 240sx with 145,XXX miles on itwhile i was driving down my street in second gear my car just turns of. The doors locked up the engine died, i attempted to turn it back on but it doesnt even turn over. The weird part of it is my headlights have power so does the interior dome light but the power windows, power locks and key less entry do not work. I checked the fuses and they seem to be working fine. I thought it might have been my alarm since it used to make the beeping sound when i locked the doors but recently it would only lock with no sound. the car just stoped while it was one and running. Any body have this problem before?

Check the connections on the positive battery cable and check the large fuse links in the box near the battery primarily the alt fuse.
