ive got an rb25 swap in an 89 s13 the motor was in another s13 that was invovled in an accident and never had any problems. ive got an apexi pfc when i turn the car off the pfc commander stays on along with the boost controller but the rest of the car is off. then when i start the car the dash light leds flicker on and off very fast and you can hear what sounds like a relay or switch ticking then the car sputters and stalls out. the guy at driven concepts is saying it is because the pfc commander is not supposed to be on or plugged all the time while the car is running. i never had any problems leaving it on all the time before on the other car and i dont think that is the cause. has anyone else had a similar problem?

The guy at driven concepts doesn't know wtf he's talking about... The hand commander is always on when the PFC is on unless you unplug it. No mystery there. Do you have the apexi boost control kit? If not, you have to disable that feature on the hand commander before you try to start it.

**edit** wait I misread that. you must have the ecu power supply coming from constant power instead of switched power like it should have. I thought the guy was trying to tell you that the hand commander doesn't stay on while the car is running. my bad.
