Electrical Problem Help!!!????

Hello everyone,

I am having a huge problem and Have been trying to figure out why my head unit does this. Example: I have a 04 G-coupe, I turn on the radio and after driving a while the whole unit's lights shut off and I touch buttons on the radio control panel and nothing works. My A/C turns on automatically and i have to drive with the Full power A/C on until i could shut off the car.

Now: The A/C just turns on right when i start the vehicle and the Control panel is dead.

What is the problem here?

This is a common problem that has to do with the circuit board that connects the AC and stereo together. You need to have it repaired...

Hey man thanks for the info but my mechanic said that its not the circuit board and that its the Radio. I dont trust him because all he did was ask around and call infiniti. He checked it out but I am not sure how I would need to fix this problem. Does anybody know if it is the radio that needs to be replaced in order for this problem to stoP?

Also does anybody know where i could get a radio for my coupe for a good price? It does not have to be new. I also am willing to get aftermarket. I just want this problem to stop.

i dont know what your price range is but i have a 05 g seadn and my 6 disc changer stopped playing cd's and it like to turn off and not turn back on also so i am going with pioneer touch screen series they go for about $500 and up i hear they are really good though

I think, joey is correct. That's a usual prob with the circuit blog that connects the ac and the stereo. that's what has happened with my friend's.Maybe, you could just drop by at your dealer for a repair if you still have the warranty or if not, try asking for advice or just consult your auto manual so you'll be familiar with nissan parts and the usual conditions that may occur with them. It might be there. I'm sorry pal, just got a li'l know-how here.Not an expert.

I seem to be having the same issue with the Audio, Heating/Air Conditioning lights going out. How much does the circut board cost? and is there somewhere close to me that you could recommend.
