so i parked my car sunday night and it was running fine. got back in town last night and the battery seemed dead, except my Viper alarm still worked. I charged the battery overnight, and today there was still nothing. no power to anything, lights wont go up or down, clock is off, everything electrical is down. Im guessing there was a short or a fuse blew, but i dont know what to check. I looked for the ignition relay by the fuse panel on the drivers side, but im kind of a noob and i didnt know what to look for. Help please haha.

Have you checked your battery cables? Alternator? Battery?

alternator and battery are less than 6 months old. Battery cables would probably be good to check though. thanks

That doesn't mean they aren't the problem. Check your voltage. Battery should be 12volt while car is off and 14volts went the car is running.

the only reason i think its not that is that today the passenger seat belt moved when i opened the door and the alarm went off. ill still be sure to check the battery and alternator though

Well i think i found out what it was. I noticed from the noise it was making the hazard lights were randomly coming on and off, so i switched them off on the console. Power to the clock came back on and the car started first try. so all i can think is that the hazard lights are like a killswitch for after the alarm has gone off.
