OKAY, they broke into my car and stole my Stereo and my Amplifier...

Now, and i'm guessing this is related to them ripping out the CD player, things that used to work when the car is off no longer work. My lights won't turn on from the inside. If I turn off the car and open the door the seat belt does not move up along the track, I HAVE to have the car on. If I set the clock and turn off the car, when I turn it back on the clock is reset to default. It doesn't save.

Do you guys know what could have been disconnected that was going into the stereo or around the stereo that could be causing this problem? I'm hoping it's something simple, or that all I have to do is reinstall a new CD player and all will be dandy...

Thanks for the help, if any, gentlemen

-Eric

hmm, when they stole my cd player, i didn't have that many things go wrong w/ my car...

just the inside dash lights went out & never came back on.

there's a white box hidden under the driver side kick panel by the fuse box...

remove door sill, then kick panel... then, you unplug that box & see if any of the printed circuit board has blown like a fuse.

ps isolate those exposed stereo wires from each other stat!

click on me for the thread/article along w/ a pic of what i'm talking about
