Electrical prob, No power!

Whats up guys

Haven't been on the forum in a while, but i need some help. i drive a 91 240 hatch and have never really had too many electrical problems, until about a week ago. It started right after the last snow we had. First my sub amp stopped working, next day my headlights stop working, next day the entire electrical system isn't working.

I turn the key, and nothing. Not even a click, or an attempt at starting. Just silence. I switch batteries out and still had the same problem. My alarm still works, but gives me the chirp code for "somethings wrong", which obviously is true.

It could be total coincidence that the amp and headlights stopped working before everything just went out. But i need help!

You better check your fuses and make sure the new battery is good and cables tight. Check your ground. one probe on negative post of batter and one probe on engine block. should be low resistance.
