electrical prob: brakes move wipers ???

Hello,

My 91 fastback has some electical issues. The cabin light turns on only when it wants too, the same with my seatbelt motor. But thats not as annoying as when the wipers move as i hit the brakes (only with the stereo on).

Any clues what area to look at?

It happens intermittently. I would attempt to crawl around and test the grounds, but I'm not sure how I do have a test light however, how does one go about doing this?

Whats a good source for a wiring diagram for my car? The factory service manual? I do notice that the device that controls my seatbealts underneath the center console makes odd noises. Could that failing causing the other failures, or is it likely that someother failure is causing that device to fail? I ask because I can easily get a new one but want to know if this might solve the problem, or if its just a symptom.
