...So the buttons on the center console that control the windows didn't work, and I took the whole thing apart. I wanted to make sure that there's no fault in the wiring itself, so i desconnected the 2 connectors from the control panel and started shorting pairs of wires to see which circuit will roll the windows up and down. Everything went fine, and I was able to controll all the windows, but at some point when I was connecting the wires in the left (yellow) connector everything stopped working. By everything I mean buttons for power windows and power locks, at any location in the car. I checked all the fuses (engine compartment and under the dash) and links, and the all seem fine. As if this wasn't strange enough, I noticed that if I open the door locks and then close the manual lock on the drivers side, all doors lock automatically, as they normally should. Yet the buttons don't work.Any ideas?
On a different note, how do you retrieve a screwdriver bit that has fallen into the center console?:)
