Electrical issues

Greetings all! Just picked up the 94 J30, 130k, on Friday - first one. I've read enough about the idle issue to know that I need to run through the TPS and MAF as well as have the codes checked upon cleaning repair. The issue I'm addressing right now involves the electrical system. This car had one helluva cell phone/laptop/hands free setup from Motorola installed. I have removed the components but have left the wiring intact so I can track it down. The Bose stereo will not power up (the power antennae doesn't engage) and the cruise control isn't working either. I have checked the fuses and they all look good. I'm wondering if someone tapped the wiring for the laptop/cell setup. If anyone has seen this before, I'd gladly appreciate any advice.

First off Welcome to NICO !!!!

When you say the Bose isn't working do yo mean no power to the Headunit ?? or no sound from the speakers ??Reason I ask is you mentioned the antenna doesnt come up and I recently learned the hard way that the speaker amps get power from the power antenna circuit.

The head unit has no power - I have not yet checked the source voltage - but it appears to have none as well as the cruise control. I checked the fuses first and nothing appears to be wrong with them. I am getting ready to dig in

Found out the power is okay - the radio is dead and it probably needs a cruise control unit as well. Where are you guys finding reliable parts for this stuff? How about aftermarket stereo units?
