Electrical Issues

I hava 90 with a redtop installed. For some strange reason my lights will act like they are strobes. They will dimm down and brighten back up. It looks like strobes cause it does it so fast. Also my other problem is the in my gauge cluster my BRAKE light stays on even though i dont have it hooked-up. I disconnected it from the ebrake. And my bateery light is like half lite. A very faint light. I have checked my wiring and all. It all seems in order and all grounds are good. I have ran out of ideas. So if someone could help i would aprreciate it.

The lights might act like strobes because your alternator is going bad. Do you have any subs or anything that draws a lot of power?

Maybe the brake light is on because of the fact that its not hooked up. Like its trying to tell you that its not hooked up? I don't know, just a guess.

I do have subs but they are not currently hooked-up. i think i fixed my prob with the strobing lights. One of the wires in the plugs was loose. but for the brake light i unpluged so that the stupid light wouldnt come on. Would anybody know about my battery light being on faintly

i recalled from pasts posts... if brake & battery lights go on @ the same time= alternator/battery circuits need to be checked.
