I have been having similar issues with my 2 front windows. Does it go almost all the way up, then come back down about 6 inches? I have been doing some research and that would be doing that because the window has a built in force gauge so that way if something or someone was in the window when it tried to roll up it would stop. On other cars I have had I needed to take the door apart and just grease all the surfaces to reduce friction and then it would start working again. I am planing on trying that with my M45 as soon as I get some free time.
About your mirror issue, there is a mirror setting that moves the passenger mirror down towards the curb when you put your car in reverse, but it will only happen if the switch is set to the passenger side. That might have something to do with why its doing that. I have a wiring diagram for the mirrors if you want me to email it to you or something.
