I have a 2003 G35 Sedan that for the past 4-6 weeks has been having electrical issues. The center console does not work at all - I can't adjust any of the settings for air, heat or turn on the radio. The air is stuck in the high position and I can not turn it off. The left door window does not stay shut which may or may not be related. I have taken it to several shops and they tested the alternator and said it was good but didn't know what else to do at that point.

What is the best way to trouble shoot this type of issue? I am afraid of getting ripped off (has happened A LOT in my experience) and am praying for a simple fix!

Well, your service manuals are all here:

"pg.pdf" is Power Supply, Ground and Circuit Elements. It's a big book but should help you trace your electrical issues.

A trained Infiniti Technician at your local dealer is best qualified to identify your electrical issue using their Consult tool, and perhaps a VOM and a scope if necessary.
You've got a thirteen year old vehicle and you should be prepared to pay for a qualified technicians time to troubleshoot. Follow the troubleshooting steps in the FSM.
I don't know anyone that works for free

Good luck
