It always happen.... You pay off your car and you hit 80K something is bound to happen. Shortly after starting may car for the first time in the morning and pulling away the VDC Off Light, RAS and Emergency Brake Light stay on. The Emergency Brake will turn on and off depending on if I hit my brakes. If I stop and restart my car the lights will go away and if the car is warmed up, these issues don't present themselves. Has anybody had the same issue? Any ideas out there?

Your front, rear,or both sets of brake pads might need replacing .
In the mean time, you can add just a tiny bit of brake fluid to get rid of the lights if that is the problem.

With 80k, depending on when you've had your brakes last replaced, they may need replacing, lowering your brake fluid level, initiating those warning lights.

Basically, it's your brakes. Check your brake fluid level, first, then the remaining pad thickness.

The issue that you are having has to deal with your brakes possibly needing to be replaced. As your brakes life fades your calipers pistons adjust, which are pressure operated with brake fluid. As more fluid is needed the reservoir fluid decreases. Once that fluid has reached the "low" point the sensor will trigger and cause a BRAKE light to appear.

Update and thanks for the feedback. So I did the Brakes (Rotors and pads) and Brake flush this weekend, added an oil change and some BG Gas treatment. All the lights are gone and the car running smooth! As always, this forum is awesome! I recently got my wife into a Acura MDX and the Acura forums are not even close in comparison.
