Hey all, just posting this again as I've done a bit more searching.

Problem: My gauge lights are no longer working, and the clock/radio no longer dims when I use the dimmer (though they are still functioning). Also, the night time illumiation such as the vent controls etc no longer are on.

Testing: So far I've tested the interior dimmer switch in another Pathfinder (it worked), and took a look at my fuses (all the minis seems to be good still).

Questions: Has anyone experienced this. If my gauge bulb burned out, would it cause the circuit for the dimmer to no longer function? Am I screwed and gonna have to take this to a mechanic/dealer for electrical work?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Did you check the ones under the hood or under the dash? I blew a fuse that is located under the hood on the left side (if you stand in front of the car) that caused my gauge lights/ dimmer switch not to work.

I checked all three locations, but maybe I missed something! Was the one you replaced a mini fuse or one of the other larger ones? (I really only checked the minis). Any specifics to help me narrow it down would be HUGELY appreciated.

Sorry for the bump on this but figured it out and thought I'd share my results should anyone else encounter this. Of course, eventually I noticed my tail lights were out, and the gauges/dimmer are on the same fuse. There are two fuses that can go out, one in the left fuse case, one in the right.

Man I feel like a dummy. On a bad note, looks like it's time for me to rewire my trailer.
