This post relates to my '94 Q45 with no aftermarket alarm or stereo modifications. I am the second owner and have had the car for about 9 years. The current mileage is approximately 137,000. Other than a few niggling issues over the years, the car has performed well. A couple of weeks ago, the passenger side seat adjusting switches stopped functioning. I searched here and learned that the LAN module in the passenger door is probably the culprit. As there are several Q's in the local Pick n' Pulls I figured that i would head over when time permits and hunt for a possible replacement. Then about a week ago, the left rear window stopped responding to either window switch. Looks like I'll need two LAN modules! Then this morning, my wife called to tell me that when she got to work and opened the door to get out, the Security light was flashing and the car was beeping at her. Lastly, when she went out to the car to get the rest of her things both front windows had rolled themselves down. I'm thinking this is too much of a coincidence and perhaps I am looking at a cascading failure that involves the BCM. As an aside, it occurs to me that the automatic memory feature hasn't been operational lately either. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance for any insight into this growing list of electronic related issues.
