Electrical failure in Heads Up Coupe s13

dash electrical failure stereo not working, and heater panel buttons not lighting up or working for that matter. Could it be a relay? I dont think its the heads up display because that comes on intermittently especially when its hot outside. had to hardwire the radio to listen to tunes. Ive asked everyone and noone can help. any ideas are helpful
